Innovation in Education: Economic Development & the High School Connection

MAISA has released a position paper entitled "Innovation in Education: Economic Development & the High School Connection." This document attempts to define "innovation" as it relates to teaching and learning, establishing six non-negotiable criteria for a program to be considered innovative:

1. customization
2. technology infused
3. choice and equity
4. collaborative and boundary spanning
5. skill based, and
6. early college credit
