Calhoun ISD

Description:The Calhoun Intermediate School District is a regional educational agency for Calhoun County that provides educational services and leadership to consultant school districts and residents. The $70 million annual budget of the CISD is achieved through permanent charter millage, federal and state supplemental monies and competitive grants. Funding for special projects is also provided from a variety of sources. The CISD provides leadership in a variety of areas that include: administrative and general assistance; legislative support; curriculum, instruction and assessment support; special education eligibility and ancillary services; early childhood programs; technology services and support; vocational, technical and workforce development services; and substance abuse prevention education/safe and drug free schools support.
