Description:The TISD serves nine local school districts covering 1,000 square miles. There are 9,705 K-12 memberships with 867 nonpublic schools students. The tISD operates a career and technical center, a center for the handicapped, and serves as fiscal agent for REMC 10, the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Programs, and the Health Education Programs for Tuscola, Sanilac, and Huron ISDs.
