Description:Wayne RESA is a regional educational service agency that provides a variety of programs and services that support student achievement to 34 local school districts and 90 public school academies in Wayne County. Providing leadership and coordination for Wayne County Schools, Wayne RESA maximizes economies of scale in staff development, purchasing and administrative services. Wayne RESA also provides reporting and compliance functions as mandated by state law. Nearly 90% of the budget goes straight to local districts for special education and other directly funded grant projects. The remaining funds support direct services for educators, students and parents in Wayne County.
